Synopsis

Welcome to the club is a documentary series of immersion in unexpected and quirky universes as Belgium is able to create. The intention is to follow enthusiasts who belong to a very specific club or association that meet their members regularly to satisfy a common passion.

We want to film these enthusiasts for original activities with humour and kindness and dive with them as close as possible to their passion. Live the tournaments, the elections of the new president, the reception of new members, the endless evenings or simply the daily life of the club. We choose original clubs that present unusual passions or clubs that, because of their activity or their mode of operation, are difficult to access and therefore unknown. For each of them we will choose a specific moment that corresponds to an important event for the club as the highlight of each of the films: the organization of the annual party, the most important tournament, an election, a contest or a ceremony. It will not be a question of showing the real with objectivity or denouncing it or mocking it, but rather of taking a benevolent look at unknown passions.
